Top 14 Saskatchewan Wedding Venues

Saskatchewan has some amazing venues! We built this list from venues we have direct experience from. They are in no particular order. So here it is! Our top 14 Saskatchewan wedding venues for 2023.

1. Remai Modern

First on our list is the Remai modern. It is located along the Saskatoon riverbank, just across the street from The Alt Hotel. The food and service is exceptional. It’s the perfect location for couples hosting out of town guests.

2. LB Distillery

LB Distillery is located in Saskatoon’s industrial area. The speak easy vibe mixed with an open view of their distillery offers a charming backdrop for small and medium sized events. Over the years we’ve seen couples have their ceremonies, receptions, and other events all hosted in this space. They create fantastic cocktails, and have expert staff available for building unique bar services.

3. Moon Lake Golf Course

Just a short drive from Saskatoon out Valley Road, Moon Lake Golf Course is hidden gem. Their events tent is adjacent to the clubhouse and can open up to the golf course allowing guests to enjoy the beautiful location. Food is second to none.

4. Queen’s House Retreat & Renewal Centre

The Queen’s House has a large park and green space with trees, beautiful pathways and picturesque views of the river. We think the photos speak for themselves.

5. The Delta Bessborough

The Bess is a timeless venue with fairytale vibes. This hotel is an all-in-one location. The venue boasts a beautiful outdoor ceremony option in its sunken garden for those getting married during the summer months.

6. The Glenn at Crossmount

Located 5 minutes south of Saskatoon, Crossmount has beautiful country club touches, overlooking a small pond and a cider orchard. Your guests can enjoy the venue while sipping cider that was crafted on site. We love it because we can take all photographs on site, or a quick drive over to Cranberry Flats.

7. Glass & Lumber

This venue is just down the street from our studio. It’s a great space for both ceremonies and receptions with exposed brick and concrete floor giving the venue a vintage warehouse vibe.

8. Elk Ridge

Elk Ridge is the perfect venue for couples who want the perks of a destination wedding without having to leave the province. It’s built around an award winning golf course, but you don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy everything that this place has to offer. Located about 15 minutes from Prince Albert National Park, this venue is close enough to drive out for the day, and far enough to get away for the weekend.

9. The Saskatoon Club

With its award winning culinary staff, the Saskatoon Club is a charming option for couples who want a more intimate reception.

10. The Local Market

The Local Market can be found in Regina’s warehouse district. The area is full of cool photo spots. Located just blocks from the popular Warehouse Brewing Company, your guests will have the opportunity to go somewhere unique between the ceremony and reception times!

11. Buena Vista Park

Did you know you can get a permit to have your ceremony in the park? We think Buena Vista Park is one of the prettiest options, and these two couples did just that. Check out the photos below for ideas on how to incorporate florals and hanging decor into the your ceremony set up!

12. The Barn at Wind’s Edge

This is a newer venue for Saskatoon. The Barn was built with weddings in mind. It has dedicated suites for both sides of the wedding party to get ready, as well as indoor and outdoor ceremony options. The food and service is phenomenal, you won’t be disappointed!

13. Ayden Kitchen & Bar

In the last two summers, we’ve seen a lot of couples have to change their wedding plans. One of our favourites was a couple who rented out their favourite restaurant. This opens up a ton of options, and may be the perfect choice for a couple who loves a great meal. We hope this idea sticks around.

14. Your Backyard

Last, but definitely not least, a backyard wedding will always be timeless. Don’t underestimate the amount of work required to do it, but if done right it can be the perfect one-of-a-kind evening. Our advice is to hire a great wedding planner to bring all the pieces together.
