Top Saskatoon Wedding Venues

A photographer’s perspective, shaped by real weddings, real light, and real experience.

When couples ask us about the top Saskatoon wedding venues, we always pause before answering.

After photographing and filming hundreds of weddings, we know that the best venue isn’t just about popularity - it’s about fit. The right space supports the flow of the day, reflects the couple’s style, keeps guests comfortable, and allows moments to unfold naturally.

Below, we’ve ranked our favourite Saskatoon wedding venues, drawing from first-hand experience and real weddings we’ve documented. This builds on our previous venue guide and reflects what we’re seeing couples choose today - and heading into 2027.

The Bessborough Hotel & Gardens

A true Saskatoon icon, The Bessborough is synonymous with timeless elegance. Set along the river, its historic architecture, formal gardens, and grand ballrooms create a setting that feels refined and elevated from start to finish.

Their garden ceremony and ballroom reception unfolded with a sense of classic romance, beautifully suited for both photography and film. The setting offered a polished, intentional backdrop for a black-tie celebration - elegant in every detail and cinematic in its scale. It remains a coveted venue for couples seeking a wedding day that feels truly special.

Worth noting: Renovations are underway in 2026, making this an exciting venue to watch for 2027 weddings.

Top of the Inn at the Sheraton

The Top of the Inn offers a similarly classic experience, with river views and a refined atmosphere well-suited to black-tie celebrations. One of its biggest advantages is convenience - it’s next to The James Hotel.

We love incorporating photos at The James’ cocktail bar. It adds a stylish, editorial layer to the day and gives couples variety within walking distance.

Remai Modern

The Remai stands apart as one of the most visually striking venues in Saskatoon. Clean lines, contemporary design, and floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the river make it ideal for couples drawn to modern, minimalist spaces.

Creative, refined, and energetic, this couple matched the venue perfectly. With beautiful natural light, a massive dance floor, a statement mirrorball, and an unforgettable DJ, the celebration carried late into the night. Driving away, we could still see the party glowing through the glass - a cinematic ending that few venues offer.

The Barn at Wind’s Edge

The Barn continues to be one of the easiest and most enjoyable venues for couples. Everything happens on site - ceremony, cocktails, reception, and catering - which keeps the day relaxed and guest-friendly.

Their outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour took place on a warm, sunny day. Guests mingled on the grass, children played lawn games, and golden hour photos unfolded effortlessly. Inside, the reception felt bright and classy, with large windows filling the space with soft light. The on-site catering was a standout as well.

The Glen at Crossmount

The Glen offers expansive green space and a peaceful setting just outside the city. With plenty of room to move, lush surroundings, and seamless transitions throughout the day, it’s ideal for couples who want a nature-forward celebration without sacrificing ease or elegance.

The Backyard

The Backyard is a fantastic option for couples planning an outdoor celebration with a larger guest list. The open layout allows for flexibility and personalization while keeping the focus on guest experience and flow.

City Parks & Gardens (Buena Vista Park)

Buena Vista Park remains an underrated choice for couples who love the outdoors and river views. With thoughtful planning and a solid backup plan, city parks can feel intimate, personal, and beautifully Saskatoon.

Lucky Bastard Distillers

With its nightlife-inspired vibe and unique concept, Lucky Bastard is perfect for couples who prioritize music, dancing, and a high-energy atmosphere. It’s an excellent choice for celebrations that lean modern, urban, and fun.
