Cal & Keisha’s beautiful sunset Engagement Session

We met at the Cranberry Flats for Cal & Keisha’s session. It started out like many sessions. We got out of our cars, chatted a little bit, and just started walking. It’s about a kilometre to get down to the river, with a beautiful boardwalk for part of the way, and one of the prettiest lookouts around.

They are getting married later this year at The Barn at Wind’s Edge. Engagement sessions are such a great way to just get used to being photographed, and have some fun.

As we got closer to the river, the weather shifted. The wind picked up, and started blowing us around. For a second we thought the wind might ruin their session. We chatted with Keisha, and told her it was pretty windy, but it looked beautiful. It was her call. She was good to go, and we just went with it.

The wind gave a warm haze to the sunset that gave beautiful soft golden light. This session was perfect.
