I love creating photographs that tell a story. That is why all MJ&Co. couples get a complimentary engagement session because it fits so perfectly with why I do what I do. I want my couples to remember what life was like. This is the engagement session of Brad & Jess. They are my kind of people.
They met at the studio when they booked MJ&Co. for their 2019 wedding day photography. We chatted about how they got engaged, and their love for adventure, and it all lead to a photo session at a little snow shack on the South Saskatchewan River. Which of course was only accessable via snowmobile.
Spring 2018 wasn’t really spring at all, and this we actually photographed them the second week of April! We met up near Birch Hills where Brad brought two snowmobiles. One for me, and one for them. We drove over a couple farmer fields and through a short trail to get to this little shack. They were troopers! Jessica didn’t want to wreck her hair, so we took it easy so the wind didn’t instantly freeze her face. The sun was beautiful, and the day was clear. We created photographs that they can look back on and get a small feeling of what life was like.
