We love being able be a part of and capture couples’ wedding days, especially couples like Marco & Kensi. Their love and fondness for one another kept them glowing the whole day.  Their Saskatoon wedding was as beautiful as it was elegant. Marco chose a classic suit in charcoal to match his groomsmen, while Kensi’s gorgeous strapless lace overlaid gown was a perfect match to her bridesmaids’ classy pale pink dresses that hit just above the knee. Marco & Kensi chose t0 have an afternoon ceremony at the beautiful St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Cathedral along Spadina Cres. with family photos by the river immediately following the nuptials.

The weather was so beautiful and with so many wonderful downtown locations for photos, we ended up walking to most of our locations with the wedding party. We finished up formal photos with just the couple on a rural road just outside of the city and even managed to make a mad dash back to the same location to retrieve Kensi’s bouquet which she had left in the grass on the side of the road. Needless to say we made it back with time to spare for Kensi to walk into the reception holding her bouquet.

The Sheraton Cavalier always delivers a classy and stylish venue for special events, and Marco & Kensi’s reception was no exception.  The newly renovated main floor ballroom was elegant and spacious for all of Marc0 & Kensi’s honoured guests. As photographers who get to attend a lot of receptions, one of our favourite things is to listen to all of the heartfelt speeches full of joy and emotion as we work to capture those moments with our cameras. We(well Julie for sure) even g0t a little misty-eyed during the speeches. The evening was finished off with a great dance, highlighted by Marco & Kensi’s first dance. You could definitely feel their love in the room as they held each other while the music played. We were so thrilled to be a part of this special day for these two!

Congratulations from the MJ&Co. Team!
