Jeremy & Elyse

A Catholic Chinese Multicultural Wedding in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

These are my kind of people. Family is important, friends are important, relationships are important. During their thank you speech, I could really get a sense of how thankful Jeremy and Elyse were to have their loved ones around. They even gave a huge shoutout to Crystal and I. I always blush.

Their wedding day stood out to me because of the way they incorporated their Catholic faith and Jeremy’s Chinese heritage. It was a beautiful Catholic Chinese wedding. It’s always a treat as a photographer when my couples have a second outfit to wear. Elyse looked stunning in her gown and Jeremy was looking sharp in his tux. We did some wedding party photos prior to the tea ceremony where they changed into the most beautiful vibrant red outfits. I knew it would look stunning against some monochromatic architectural features, so we made sure to swing downtown Saskatoon to photograph some portraits and candids with an urban vibe.

“These are my kind of people.”

Their ceremony and reception was at St. Anne’s Parish here in Saskatoon. I’ve been to a lot of weddings so it’s not often I see something for the first time, but Jeremy and Elyse had a treat for everyone! Right before their grand entry, they had arranged for dragon dancers. They were UNREAL! The guests were smiling from ear to ear. It was very unique and a ton of fun to photograph.

Thank you so much for having Crystal and I be a part of your wedding day. You both make a beautiful couple. Congratulations!
